Established as part of the MAC Group 15 years ago, Manx Pension Trustees are entering a new phase in their development and are seeking an experienced manager to lead a small but dedicated team looking after a portfolio of pension clients.

Reporting to Head of Private Client Advisory

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the review and delivery of a first-class service to both domestic and international clients’ pension arrangements as well providing operational support for the company’s independent trustee and scheme administration services.

Whilst not essential, experience of working in a similar role would be desirable. We would expect the successful candidate to consider working towards professional qualifications from the Pensions Management Institute or equivalent if not already attained.

Key Outputs
  1. To provide effective day to day management of the pension trustee team
  2. Ensure the team continually meet and exceed client expectations
  3. Review, update and implementation of procedures
  4. Involvement of the preparation, delivery and ongoing management of a new CRM system
  5. Ongoing communication of goals and deadlines
  6. Assessing team performance and provision of feedback
  7. Performing customer service functions, including interaction with clients, both internal and external
  8. Develop and maintain skills to the level required to undertake the role competently
  9. Induct and orientate new team members as required
  10. Operational support/oversight within the wider group as and when required
  11. Involvement in new and ongoing projects both technically and operational
